The Spaniard's coach continues to experience his side's winless run in all competitions as Manchester City threw away a three-goal lead against Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Manchester City seemed poised for a comfortable victory at the Etihad Stadium after Erling Haaland scored two goals and Ilkay Gundogan added another, putting the Premier League champions ahead 3-0 after 53 minutes. However, in a bizarre final 15 minutes, City conceded three goals. Anis Hadj Moussa, Santiago Gimenez, and David Hancko all found the net for the Dutch side, bringing the score to 3-3.

When asked about the deep cut on his nose and some bruises on his head in his post-match press conference, Guardiola said, 'Yes, it's from my nail on my finger,' he said. 'I cut myself with my fingernail (during the game). I want to hurt myself.'

Guardiola spoke about the boos his team received at full-time from a section of City supporters.

‘They are disappointed. Of course we understand it. They come here not to remember the success in the past, but to see the team win,’

Guardiola said

The draw against Feyenoord now leaves Pep Guardiola's side 15th in the Champions League table and two points behind an automatic place in the knockout stage. Their next three games in the Champions League league phase will be against Juventus, PSG, and Club Brugge. City has conceded two or more goals in six successive matches in all competitions for the first time since May 1963.

City will now head to their huge Super Sunday Premier League clash with title leader Liverpool at Anfield on the back of a six-match winless streak, and a further defeat at Anfield could see Liverpool take an 11-point lead in the race for the new Premier League crown.
