The International Football Federation (FIFA) announced the top three contenders for the prize of the best goalkeeper in 2023.
The voting takes into account the period from December 19, 2022 to August 20, 2023. The winner of the award will be named on January 15 during a ceremony in London.
The finalists for the award are Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, Real Madrid's Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Manchester City's Ederson.
The best goalkeeper of 2022 according to FIFA is the goalkeeper of the national team of Argentina and Aston Villa Emiliano Martinez.
