LA Dodgers' co-owner Todd Boehly is leading a consortium that is buying Chelsea in a 5.2 billion dollar sale of the team. Although Clearlake Capital is going to own the major shares, Todd Boehly will have a substantial stake in the team. The takeover is still subject to approval by the UK Government. A part of the sale is also going to charity.
