Saudi Arabia has offered PSG advisor Luis Campos 200 million euros to prepare the national team for the 2034 World Cup and aim for a semifinal finish.
Le Parisien reports that Campos met with Saudi Football Federation representatives last week to discuss a ten-year contract offer. Campos is expected to reform and structure the team in hopes of reaching the semifinals at the tournament held in their home country.
The source indicates that Campos must respond by December 31 of this year. While his priority is to continue working with PSG, the parties have yet to agree on a contract extension. Additionally, representatives from Arsenal and Chelsea have already reached out to Campos.
In December of last year, Saudi Arabia was granted the right to host the World Cup. The tournament is set to take place across 15 stadiums in five different cities.
