Referee David Coote from the English Premier League (EPL) has been dismissed after making offensive comments about Liverpool and the team's former manager.
The PGMOL organization, overseeing officiating in England, announced Coote's termination following an investigation into his conduct.
David Coote's actions were found to be in serious breach of the provisions of his employment contract, with his position deemed untenable.
