Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has assisted Scottish club Inverness Caledonian Thistle in eliminating a debt of £3 million, according to the Daily Record.

The report indicates that the club's new advisor, Alan Savage, held an emergency meeting with individuals and firms that previously issued loans to the Scottish club. He also made calls requesting assistance. Among those who agreed to provide help was Sir Alex Ferguson. The funds will be transferred to the Scottish club either in the form of a loan or as a share investment.

Ferguson managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013, winning 13 English league titles and two Champions League trophies. In total, he led the "Red Devils" to secure 38 trophies.

Additionally, Ferguson recently purchased a thoroughbred named Caldwell Potter at an auction for £633,000. He has also been recognized as the best manager in the history of world football.
