Former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva revealed that he will have his final mixed martial arts fight in Japan against Hayato Sakurai.
I try to do my last fight in MMA in Japan because I start fighting in Japan. That’s what I try to do, my last fight in Japan, my last MMA fight in Japan. The opponent? Maybe Hayato Sakurai. I think this is good fight for us. We will see.

Recall that Silva, 48, last fought against famous blogger Jake Paul in October 2022. In that confrontation, Anderson was defeated by unanimous decision of the judges.
Silva had his last fight in the UFC against American Uriah Hall in October, 2020. In that fight, Anderson was defeated by TKO in the fourth round. He has 34 wins and 11 losses in MMA under his belt.
