Swedish UFC fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev will meet Paulo Costa at UFC 294 on October 21 in Abu Dhabi. This was announced by UFC president Dana White.
Costa's last fight was against Luke Rockhold in August 2022 at UFC 278. In this fight Paulo won by unanimous decision of judges. He has 14 wins and two losses on his record.
Chimaev last entered the octagon against Kevin Holland in September 2022 at UFC 279. That fight ended in favor of Khamzat with a first-round choking submission. He has 12 wins and no losses under his belt.
