UFC President Dana White announced that there will be a documentary film about the preparation for UFC 306, which he hopes will be nominated for an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Grammy.
White stated at a press conference:
So my goal in this thing is to be nominated for an Oscar, an Emmy, and a Grammy. So, yes. There will be a documentary. Yep.
UFC 306 will take place on the night of September 15 in Las Vegas. The main event will feature a fight between UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili. In the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will have her third bout with current UFC women's flyweight champion Alexa Grasso.
