Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman of the United States will fight against his compatriot Brad Tavares on August 19 at UFC 292 in Boston (USA).
In his last fight, held in April 2021 at UFC 261, Weidman lost to Uriah Hall by TKO in the first round. Weidman, 38, has 15 wins and six losses under his belt.
Tavares, 35, last competed at UFC Fight Night 222 in April 2023, when he lost by TKO in the first round to Bruno Silva. He has 19 wins and eight losses under his belt.
