Former UFC two-weight champion Conor McGregor laughs at information on his social media that he removed The Ultimate Fighter participants from the show to make room for his fighters.

Good practice, team! It’s time for the easiest part of any coach’s job – layoffs. Now, although I can’t fire everyone I want, I will fire many of you. Wendell is fired. Janey, get out. Steven, I love your energy, which is why it’s so hard for me to kick you out. Congratulations! The rest stay on the team! Except for you, you and you.

Earlier it was reported that McGregor removed several fighters from the TUF roster to make room for fighters he personally selected.

McGregor last stepped into the octagon against American Dustin Poirier. The fight took place in July 2021, at UFC 264. In this fight, Conor was defeated by TKO as a result of broken leg.

McGregor made his UFC debut against U.S. representative Marcus Brimage in April 2013. That fight ended in favor of Conor by TKO in the first round. He has 22 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts.
