Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has admitted that his first fight with Stipe Miocic is the best fight of his career so far.
That was the first fight – that was my real first fight. I lost that fight and then I understood everything. That was – if you ask me, so far that's the best fight in my career.

The first fight between Ngannou and Miocic took place in January 2018 at UFC 220. Then Francis was defeated by unanimous decision. But already in the rematch, held in March 2021, Ngannou won, knocking out his opponent in the second round.
On October 28 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Ngannou will have a boxing match against WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Francis has 17 wins and three losses on his record in MMA.
