Dutch mixed martial arts fighter Alistair Overeem, who had previously announced the end of his career, said that he lost 27 kilos and became a vegetarian.
Overeem had his last kickboxing match in October 2021 at the GLORY: Collision 4 tournament against Badr Hari. In this confrontation, Alistair won by unanimous decision of the judges.
Overeem fought under MMA rules in February 2021 as part of the UFC Fight Night 184 tournament against Alexander Volkov. That fight ended with Alistair's defeat by TKO in the second round. He has 47 wins and 19 losses in mixed martial arts under his belt.
