Rousey: I'm The Greatest Fighter That Has Ever Lived

Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey called herself the greatest fighter of all time and spoke out about her decision to end her professional mixed martial arts career.

In an interview with Valeria Lipovetsky Rousey said:

I know I'm the greatest fighter that has ever lived. When it got to the point that I couldn't take it (punishment) anymore, I was like, vilified. But your brain doesn't heal back stronger... It's an inevitable decline. I just couldn't keep fighting at that level anymore.

The 37-year-old Rousey had her last fight in December 2016 at UFC 207 against Amanda Nunez. In this confrontation, Ronda was defeated by technical knockout in the first round. After this fight, she left the promotion and made her WWE debut in April 2018. She has 12 wins and two losses on her MMA record.
