The heavyweight bout between Moldovan fighter Sergey Spivak and Brazilian fighter Jailton Almeida will take place on January 18 during UFC 311.

Spivak's last fight was against Marcin Tybura on August 11 at UFC Vegas 95. Sergey won that fight by submission in the first round. He has 17 wins and four losses on his record.
On the night of June 1-2 at UFC 302, Almeida faced Moldovan fighter Alexander Romanov. The contest ended with Jailton's victory via rear-naked choke in the first round. His record includes 21 wins and three losses.
