Professional FaZe Clan player Howard Rain Nygard became the most mature player to receive MVP at a LAN tournament. This is the fourth MVP award of his career.
Howard Rain Nygard, 29, became the oldest player to win the Most Valuable Player award in Counter-Strike history. He received his first MVP in CS2 from HLTV Rain for his contribution to the team’s match at IEM Sydney 2023. The previous record for receiving MVP in adulthood also belonged to Howard. He received MVP at PGL Antwerp 2022 at the age of 27.
We remind you that this morning the FaZe team won the first LAN event for Counter-Strike 2 – IEM Sydney 2023. In the grand finals they defeated Complexity.
