Meanwhile, Chelsea is set to clash with Ajax, aiming for their maiden European championship and hoping to achieve a quadruple this season under Emma Hayes' helm. Lyon W vs. Benfica W

The home side recently secured a dominant 7-0 victory on the road against LOSC Lille, cementing their position atop the Division 1 Féminine standings, where they have yet to suffer defeat in their last eighteen matches (W17 D1). Prior to that, a 2-1 victory against Benfica on the road in the first leg of the UEFA Women's Champions League quarter-final not only gave them a one-goal advantage entering the second leg but has drawn them closer to clinching their ninth European championship.

Benfica, on the other hand, rallied from behind to clinch a comfortable 4-1 victory at home against Braga in the 18th round of the Liga BPI Women. Firmly perched atop the league standings, they still maintain a five-point cushion over second-placed title contender Sporting CP. Having suffered defeat in the first leg of the UEFA Women's Champions League against French powerhouse Lyon Benfica, enter this match seeking to overturn that one-goal deficit, a feat that'll be challenging to achieve.

Les Fenottes are acutely aware that they still have a lot to do in this upcoming second tie if they are to secure their spot in the semi-finals, and a one-goal lead isn't adequate to seeing those dreams materialize. However, with home advantage at their disposal, they'll turn out to be an indomitable force, and their triumph is not one to be doubted. Considering they've seen the total exceed 1.5 goals in the first half in two of their last three matches against Benfica, we expect the same trend to continue in this one.

Al Shahaniya vs. Al Bidda

Al Shahaniya's recent match against Al Mesaimeer in the semi-finals of the QFA Cup saw them play out a 1-1 draw in regular time. Nonetheless, they were able to secure their spot in the final by defeating their opponents 5-4 in a penalty shootout. The home side enters the upcoming match in terrific form, having avoided defeat in their last five matches across all competitions (W3 D2), and will aim to build up on this momentum to secure their first ever QFA Cup in club history.

Al Bidda, on the other hand, achieved the unthinkable as they cruised past formidable Al Khor to secure their spot in the final. In that match, Al Bidda held their opponents to a goalless draw in regular time before defeating them 6-5 in a penalty shootout. They, too, enter this upcoming match with hopes of clinching their first QFA Cup in club history.

Al Shahaniya enters this match as the favored team, but their victories leading up to this point have been less than convincing. This uncertainty makes predicting the winner in the full-time market challenging, so it's prudent to bet on the total goals being under 2.5 in this match.

Chelsea W vs. Ajax W

Chelsea women enter this upcoming match in good form, having won six consecutive matches across all competitions and outscoring their opponents 14-1. Their most recent match was a comfortable 2-0 league win against West Ham on foreign territory. After establishing an insurmountable three-goal lead in the first leg against Ajax and securing a 3-0 triumph on away turf, Emma Hayes and her squad will be aiming to preserve their lead in the upcoming second leg.

Ajax, on the other hand, returned to winning ways, defeating PEC Zwolle 3-2 at home in the 18th round of the Eredivisie Women's League. This comes after suffering a 3-0 home defeat at Chelsea's hands in the first leg of the Champions League women's quarterfinals. Suzanne Bakker's side now enters this upcoming second-leg tie with a heavy burden on their shoulders, and that's to overcome a three-goal deficit against the reigning English Champions on foreign territory. However, having managed to secure one victory in their last seven away matches in this competition (L4 D2) indicates they'll be up against it to secure a favorable outcome.

De Amsterdames made history by becoming the first Dutch women's team to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League. However, they are now faced with possible elimination from this competition as they have to overturn a three-goal deficit. Chelsea are the better side on paper and have bolstered their chances of progressing to the semi-finals of this competition. Considering the home side has taken the lead at halftime in three of their last five home matches, we expect them to be leading at halftime in this impending encounter.
