The Mavericks have a very young roster for the Summer League. There are only two drafted players - Melvin Ajinça, the 51st pick in the 2024 draft, and Olivier-Maxence Prosper, the 24th pick in the 2023 draft, who played 40 games for Dallas last season. The rest are undrafted basketball players.

The Jazz began their summer camp with a home tournament in Salt Lake City. Utah won two of their three games, beating Memphis 87:95 (90:90 in overtime) and Philadelphia 93:85. The Jazzmen lost 75:98 to Oklahoma.
