Golden State Warriors vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction: Can Warriors outlast the 76ers?

The NBA Regular Season has been in its final stages and we will be entering the Postseason stage soon. This is an important phase where we witness huge chances for multiple teams that are looking to enter the top-six playoff rankings and top play-in spots. In this important match, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Warriors enter the game after a controversial 127:125 win against the Dallas Mavericks as sophomore Jonathan Kuminga surprised with a 22 points outing. The Mavs claimed that the referees were biased in favor of the Warriors and there are reports that they are going to challenge the game decision. At any rate, this was a rare instance where the Warriors won the second game in a row away from home in an otherwise dismal road season. Because of the poor play away from home, the Warriors are just two games above the 50% win record with 38 wins and 36 losses, surely an underwhelming return for Curry and co. which won the title last season.

The 76ers march into this affair after beating the Chicago Bulls 116:91 as guard De’Anthony Melton erupted for 25 points, his second-highest output this season. The 76ers have nine wins in the last ten games. The 76ers have been on fire throughout the season and they have registered 49 wins and just 23 losses. They are still in a big shot to acquire the second position in the East and if they get it, they will have a much-needed home-court advantage in a highly likely second round appearance in the Playoffs, potentially against the Celtics. Philly has been equally impressive away from home and the pick-n-roll partnership of Joel Embiid and James Harden has been impressive. Tobias Harris, Tyrese Maxey, De’Anthony Melton and others make for a strong supporting unit that has made this duo work.

The Warriors are an amazing squad at home and the questionable designation of Embiid and Harden plays a huge role for the 76ers. The Warriors will fancy their chances even if the two play but if they miss out, they will be firm favorites. Therefore, a lot depends upon their availability. Anyway, I believe the Warriors will come out firing from the gates and capture a win here.
