Los Angeles Clippers vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction: Clippers look for rhtyhm, the Wolves struggling

The NBA Regular Season is hustling into the final parts and we are just a few weeks away from the Postseason window. This has been a scintillating season and with the arrival of Playoffs, we will only see the season heat up further. In this NBA Regular Season affair, the Los Angeles Clippers are going to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Clippers come into this game after a 124:134 Overtime loss to the Nuggets despite a 33 points performance by Kawhi Leonard. They have lost two in a row and both of these losses came in Overtime. One of these games was the second-highest-scoring game. The Clippers have lost four of their last six games and this has been a difficult period. Because of these fractures, they have only managed 33 wins and 30 losses. This is an underwhelming record for a team that is led by the thunderous duo of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The defense isn’t as stingy as expected and their offense hasn’t been deep apart from Leonard and George and to an extent Norman Powell.

The Wolves are going to enter the affair after losing 104:109 against the Warriors 104:109 despite a 30 points performance by Naz Reid. They have lost three in a row and have lost seven in the last 11 games. Because of that lax window, the Wolves have 32 losses and 31 wins. The Wolves are at the ninth rank in the West which means that the crunch time is going to be huge. They have to play 12 of their next 19 games away from home which makes for a rather tricky window as they have struggled more on the offensive end without D’Angelo Russell who was traded for Mike Conley. Anthony Edwards has been the leading scorer, and the defense has been decent but overall, the team has been in tatters.

The Wolves look a bit out-of-sorts which has impacted their run toward the Playoffs. Anyway, I favor the Clippers to win this and predict a scoreline of 125:115 in favor of the Clippers.
