Phoenix Suns vs Orlando Magic Prediction: Suns should get the win here

The NBA caravan has jumped to its concluding stages and we will soon learn which teams will nab the top-six spots and which will fall under the four spots for the Play-in tournament. Therefore, each game becomes a litmus test for the teams that are struggling to bounce back as the window is collapsing. In this game, the Phoenix Suns are going to take on the Orlando Magic.

The Suns enter the game after losing 104:116 against the Bucks despite a 30 points performance by Devin Booker. The Suns have now lost three in a row and just when it looked like they are recovering and heading for the second seed, they have now been reduced to 37 wins and 32 losses. They are barely holding on to the fourth seed and can fall further if things continue in the same vein. The injury to Kevin Durant has hurt the dynamics and he would have been highly useful in the three-game stretch that was against tough teams. 

The Magic comes into this contest after losing 114:132 against the Spurs despite a 27 points performance by the Rookie of the Year favorite Paolo Banchero. The Magic has now lost four of the last five games and has not won more than two games in a row for around four months. Because of the lack of winning streaks and continuous losses, Magic has been reduced to 41 losses and 28 wins, effectively out of the playoff contention. The frontline looks promising with Franz Wagne, Paolo Banchero, and Franz Wagner. A strong guard rotation can lead this team to Playoffs next season.

The Suns have been a bit down these days and it seems like the injury to Kevin Durant has hurt their chances and psyche quite a bit. On the other hand, the Magic is a young team, they capitulate under pressure situations and their lack of shooting can hurt. Anyway, I favor the Suns to bounce back here and predict a 128:110 win.
