Friday, June 25 will be the second game day of South American qualifiers for The International 10. The day will conclude with the semi-finals of the top bracket. Who will be one step away from the finals?
The International 10 South America Qualifier is the South American open qualifier for Dota2’s biggest tournament of the year. The 12 teams from the region that didn't make it directly to the International will compete for one ticket to the main tournament. South America will determine the winner from June 23-26, 2021.
EgoBoys: Surprise upper bracket semi-finalists
A team from the Second Division of the Second DPC League. EgoBoys found themselves at the bottom after a disastrous performance in the first season of the DPC league elite, but their return secured them a place in the upper bracket of this qualification.
The upper bracket guarantees them at least one more match, all the more important after the sensational victory over the Infamous team yesterday (2-1). Yes, we predicted problems for the favourite, but the fact that the EgoBoys team will remain at the top is a surprise for us.
SG e-sports: Brazilians continue their winning streak
SG e-sports is the second direct challenger, along with NoPing, for the only slot in The International 10. Yes, the Brazilians performed poorly in the second DPC league, barely retaining a slot in the elite. They went from bronze in the first season to 6th in the second, which can be called a failure.
Before the main Brazilian team were the INVie vice-champions and they lost twice to Team Unknown, who they might face in the final of the top flight if everything goes according to plan.
The first game was supposed to be a warm-up game, but the BINOMISTAS team (2-1) gave their compatriots a good fight. So far, SG e-sports has been doing well in the bracket, all that matters is to win and not to make any mistakes.
