TSM: Getting Worse and Worse

TSM did not start the summer split well. Having lost in the opening match against 100 Thieves, TSM did not lose heart, preparing for the match against CLG. The match was exciting, but still, TSM could not defeat their opponents. In the final match of the super week, the guys met with Immortals, defeating them, thus going to a score of 1-2, at the end of the first game week. The second week started with an important win against Team Liquid. However, later, TSM lost to Golden Guardians, 2-3, disputing fifth place with three other teams. At the beginning of the third week, TSM fell to Evil Geniuses, dropping to #8 in the standings. Dignitas continued their unsuccessful streak, defeating TSM quite easily. Week 4 began with another failure. This time, Cloud9 beat the guys, sending them on a streak of four losses in a row, 2-6. At the end of the week, TSM beat FlyQuest, which moved them up to eighth place in the overall standings. At the beginning of week 5, TSM lost to 100 Thieves, leaving them in eighth place overall. Today the guys will meet the Immortals, who can be beaten quite easily.

TSM (formerly known as Team SoloMid) is a North American eSports team created from the SoloMidNet community website by brothers Andy "Reginald" Dean and Dan "Dan Dinh" Dinh in September 2009. Since June 2021, the organization has been known as TSM FTX in cybersports, not related to Riot Games, as it is not allowed to use the name in League of Legends or VALORANT due to sponsorship restrictions.

The team was first spotted in early 2011 after forming for the Riot Season 1 Championship that year. Previously, the organization hosted TSM Darkness and the now disbanded Team SoloMid Evo. TSM is the only team to qualify for the first seven World Championships, and the only team to qualify for the first ten NA LCS finals.

TSM completely failed in the spring split. After finishing in 9th place by a score of 5-13, the guys left too early to prepare for the summer split, before which they replaced their midliner and support.

Immortals: At the Bottom

This split didn't begin very well for Immortals. After losing the opening game against Team Liquid, the guys didn't lose their focus. Already in the second game of the super week the Immortals beat FlyQuest in a tense encounter, thus making the score 1-1. The final day of the first week was less successful. Although the guys tried hard, they failed to beat TSM, thus ending the week with a score of 1-2. The second week didn't start any better. Having lost in the starting match Evil Geniuses, Immortals went to the game against Dignitas without fighting spirit. In the end Dignitas demolished their opponents, leaving them in last place. The Immortals started the third week with another devastating defeat against Golden Guardians. At the end of the week, the Immortals faced 100 Thieves, who left them no chance, and at the beginning of the fourth week, the CLG continued their losing streak of 6 games in a row to the Immortals. Immortals ended their losing streak by beating Cloud9, but it wasn't too much of a win. Immortals is still in last place, and at the beginning of week 5, Immortals lost to Team Liquid. Today the guys will meet TSM, whom they might beat.

Immortals were announced on October 7, 2015, as a new cybersports franchise, as well as a new Team 8 brand, with this lineup being their first of several planned cybersports teams. In 2016, Immortals announced the acquisition of the LCS Team 8 slot, and several investors gave strong support to the organization. Eventually, with franchising just around the corner, Immortals was confirmed as one of the organizations that didn't make the league. That changed in 2020, with the Immortals Gaming Club acquiring OpTic Gaming and bringing back the Immortals League of Legends brand to participate in the LCS instead of OpTic.

The Immortals completely failed in the spring split. After finishing in last place with a score of 5-13, the organization's management decided to make a global reshuffle. After replacing three players, the revamped Immortals will play in the summer split.
