Aberdeen vs Dundee FC Prediction: Time for Aberdeen to bounce back to winning ways

Pittodrie Stadium will host the Scottish Premiership encounter between Aberdeen and Dundee FC. The last time these two teams met, Aberdeen pulled off a hard-fought 1-2 win on the road. How will this one unfold?

Aberdeen played Celtic in their last encounter, being in the semifinal stage of the Scottish League Cup. In that game, Aberdeen had 30 percent of the possession with three shots that failed to be converted. In the meantime, Aberdeen were unbeaten in prior encounters to that defeat, winning nine and drawing one of their first 10 matches. In that run, Aberdeen scored 20 goals while conceding 9 in the same number of matches. Heading into this game, Aberdeen sit second in the standings, settling with 28 points, the same as first-placed Celtic.  

Dundee FC's last encounter was against Kilmarnock, and they secured a 3-2 win. In that game, Dundee FC had to come from behind to seal maximum points, pulling one back from their deficit before the break, thanks to Sebastian Palmer-Houlden's strike. However, second-half strikes by Jordan McGhee and Ziyad Larkeche in the second half were enough to see this side complete their comeback. Heading into this game, Dundee FC had two wins in their last matches, while they lost three. 

Aberdeen have been a very good team this season in the league, and I do not see them losing. While Dundee FC have been confident lately, their last matches have not proven them ready to win a road game of this caliber. Take the home team to win, getting revenge for their defeat to Celtic.
