Armenia vs Latvia Prediction: Who will be able to score the crucial points?

Prediction for the match between Armenia and Latvia, which will take place on June 19. Check the team conditions and choose several betting options.

In the first match of the summer qualifying program, Armenia hosted Wales and played a terrific game. The Armenians were the first to concede at the start of the game but took a 2:1 lead at half-time and increased their lead midway through the second half. The Welsh quickly got back into the game but got another one in quick succession. At the end of the game, the score was 4:2. Armenia not only played a lively game but also secured a vital win, moving very close to the top-2 of the table with Wales and Croatia. 

Similarly to Armenia, Latvia played a very entertaining game on June 16. However, unlike the Armenians, the Latvians could not enjoy the result. They faced Turkey at home, losing 0:1 and 1:2, but could get back into the game on 90+4 when Lechia Gdansk's defender Kristers Tober scored. Surprisingly, the Latvians could not maintain a draw, conceding on the next possession. With 2:3, Latvia was dramatically left with zero points. Before the loss to Turkey, Latvia had lost to Wales, 0:1, in March.

Latvia is the unpleasantly unstoppable opponent. In the previous World Cup 2022 qualifying, the team lost only one away game in five, mainly drawing such strong contenders as Norway, Montenegro, and Turkey. Therefore, no matter how good the Armenian team looks under Aleksandr Petrakov, we won't count on them winning the upcoming game. It will be better to look at the goals that are likely to be scored by either side. Once again, with Coach Petrakov, the Armenians are prioritizing attacking play. Latvia, too, has been playing a more productive game. So we'll bet on a high number of goals.
