Athens Kallithea vs Olympiakos Prediction: Derby that doesn’t make any noise

In the last match of the 15th round in the best football league in Greece, we will see a small city derby in Athens. Kallithea will welcome the giant from Piraeus and the most successful Greek club Olympiakos. This derby is not on the same level as other derbies in Athens, but of course, it has its own charm and beauty. The difference between these teams is huge and Olympiakos are a big favorite to win.

Athens Kallithea are one of the worst teams in the league. They are in last place, and after 14 matches played, they are the only team in the league without a win. They have eight points, eight draws, and six defeats. In this stadium, they have three draws and four defeats, but there isn’t any improvement in their game since the start of the season, and they are without any doubt the main candidate to be relegated at the end of the season.

This season Olympiakos will go with all strength to win the domestic trophy, and so far, they are doing well. They are in 3rd place with same number of points as AEK and PAOK, 30. They have a record of nine wins, three draws, and two defeats. As visitors, they have four victories, a draw, and two defeats. Recently Olympiakos are playing amazingly, they have five wins in a row in the league and they are undefeated in their last ten matches in all competitions. 

These teams met in the National Cup recently and Olympiakos won in this stadium 1:0, and in Piraeus, it was a draw 1:1. In this match I expect a little bit different approach by Olympiakos, they are more serious when playing in the league match than in the Cup, and I believe that they will win with several goals difference. Athens Kallithea lost in the last round against a direct opponent for relegation, Levadiakos, and in that match, it was obvious that this team is far below the minimum level of quality for playing in this league. An easy away win with more than three goals scored in the match is my prediction.
