Internacional vs Atlético-MG Prediction: The Rooster is on a three-winless streak

Since the humiliating 4-0 defeat at home to Palmeiras, Atlético Mineiro has never again performed at a high level. The Belo Horizonte side is in mid-table, far from the top four it should theoretically occupy with the quality of the players it has. If Palmeiras and Flamengo were the favorites to win the Brasileirão before the competition began, Atlético was right behind them in a second line of candidates along with Fluminense, São Paulo, and Internacional.

The Gaúchos are having a good season, given the difficulties they've been having by playing and training away from Porto Alegre. Coudet's team bases its strategy on a solid defensive organization that has brought good results. The Colorado side has only conceded five goals and is the best defense in the competition. In the derby with Grêmio, Inter won 1-0 without ever allowing its rival to create scoring chances. The club has decided to play in Criciúma this time because it will play the local club at the weekend and will therefore avoid another trip.
