Maniema Union vs Raja Casablanca Prediction: The hosts will at least secure a point here

In what seems to be a must-win game, Maniema Union will lock horns against Raja Casablanca at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte Stadium on Saturday. The debutant will hope to put up another decent performance against one of the most respected teams in the competition in front of their home supporters tomorrow. 

Papy Kimoto's men had their bite in this tournament a few days ago against an experienced Mamelodi Sundowns. Fortunately, they came out hurt away from home. What a display from the debutant who defended with all their heart and restricted their opponent from finding the back of the net. Even though it was a combination of luck and hard work, we can’t underestimate how the guests put in a good defensive shift, settling for a (0-0) stalemate against a not-so-convincing Mamelodi Sundowns team. 

Maniema Union will play their second-ever group stage game tomorrow at the Stade des Martyrs de la Pentecôte Stadium. Unfortunately, the Greens and Blacks' twenty-one games without defeat in all competitions ended against Rangers in their domestic league. 

Maniema Union, who won the Congolese league by a significant margin, lack the pedigree in this tournament. They’ve enough quality to produce a great result in this group, and we are backing them to do well. 

The Green Eagles' woes continued in this competition as they were beaten hands down against AS FAR Rabat at home. In a game where they had seven shots at goal and missed from the penalty spot, Raja Casablanca were beyond shocking. They swung into action in their homeland and got all the points against Hassania Agadir on the road just in time for their journey to Congo. 

After defeating Ghana outfit Samartex in the qualifying round, the Green Eagles head into this competition with the aim of winning their fourth CAF Champions League title. 

Ricardo Sa Pinto's men have managed to win one of their last eight games in all competitions, a run marred with their ineffective display in front of goal. The Green Eagles, who won the Botola Pro title by just a point, have had a poor start to the season. 

Raja Casablanca still remain a top team regardless of their recent woes and we hope to see a new look side in this competition tomorrow. 

Maniema Union showed class in their recent stalemate against Mamelodi Sundowns in their opening game, even though it was a bit of hard work and luck. They looked solid at the back and defended as a unit just to secure a point on the road. We expect a different approach from them on their home turf against a struggling but dangerous team. 

Raja Casablanca's experience will definitely speak for them in this encounter; however, we can’t guarantee their win. I’d rather you stake on a home win or draw and under 2.5 goals for 2.02.
