Bragantino vs Corinthians Prediction: Huge pressure on both teams

Only a few days after their match in the Brazilian league, these teams will play a match in the 1/8 finals of Copa Sudamericana. Their last encounter ended in a draw, 1:1, in an even match played in Corinthians’ stadium. However, this is the knockout stage of another competition which is important for both of them so we can expect a totally different approach from both teams. In this match, Bragantino will be without Juninho Capixaba and Nathan Camargo, both injured.

Corinthians are having a terrible season, they are in 17th place in the domestic league, and this competition is the best way for them to bring some joy to the fans. They are undefeated in the last 4 matches, but they failed to win against Bragantino during the weekend, even though they were playing at home. In the previous round Corinthians were free as they finished in 1st place in Group F and qualified directly for the 1/8 finals. 

Considering all Bragantino are a better team than Corinthians, and they are a slight favorite to win this match. In their last 5 matches, Bragantino won 4 times, and once it was a draw, while as hosts Bragantino won the last 3 matches and all three ended with a score of 1:0. This should be another tough encounter, but I believe that Bragantino will once again be victorious, this time I expect them to score at least 2 goals.
