El Gouna vs Ghazl El Mahalla Prediction: This game won’t deny us goals

El Gouna will face off against Ghazl El-Mahalla with the hope of picking up their first win of the season at the Khaled Bichara Stadium on Saturday. The visitors, who had a decent season in the championship, will be keen to secure a win since promotion. 

Alaa Abdelaal's men have started the league without a goal over their last two matches. El Gouna began their journey with a toothless stalemate against Zed FC, failing to convert their penalty kick. More recently, they were unable to find the back of the net as they prioritized defense against a more organized Al Masry team. For the second game, they settled for a share of the spoils. 

El Gouna survived relegation last season, scoring thirty-two and conceding forty-four games. 

El Gouna have managed two wins in all competitions over their previous twenty games. 

The hosts have struggled on their home turf in recent games, and they’ll have to do their best to pick up a win here. 

This season, the visitors have been in dire straits, marching here without a win in two games. They kicked off their campaign with a (0-0) stalemate against Ismaily on the road with ten men. More recently, they suffered defeat on their home turf against El Gaish. The five-goal thriller was a decent game to behold, even though their two goals were scored late. 

Ghazl El-Mahalla were unlucky to have lost their most recent game, converting just two of their eleven shots at goal. The guests have shown signs of improvement lately even though they have failed to win any game this campaign. 

Ghazl El-Mahalla are unbeaten on the road in over eight games in all competitions.

Both teams have won twice and five games ending in a tie over their previous nine meetings. El Gouna have not won any of their last two games, but I’m impressed by their defensive discipline. They’re presented with another opportunity to secure their first win against a Ghazl El-Mahalla side who have more than enough experience in their cart to pull a surprise stunt here. 

I won’t put my money on the hosts winning, but I will surely back them to at least secure a point because they’ve failed to win any of their last four meetings against the guests.

I also think this game won’t deny us goals, as the guests have been vulnerable at the back lately.
