ES Setif vs JS Kabylie Prediction: Both teams will be pleased with a point apiece

As the Algerian Premier League continues to heat up, ES Setif will lock horns against JS Kabylie in what promises to be an exciting game at the Stade du 8 Mai 1945 Stadium on Friday. The hosts would have to be at their best to secure the maximum points against one of the most formidable opponents on the road.

The Black Eagles picked up their first back-to-back win since the league began, defeating USM Khenchela on the road. ES Setif, who have struggled to convert their chances in recent games, found the back of the net three times for just the second game this season. They returned from a goal down to secure all the points in a (2-3) victory. This was after they defeated Olympique Akbou on the road as Young striker Abderrhmane Bacha scored the only goal that secured them all the points.

Frankly, ES Setif have been poor this season, winning five of their last ten league games. Réda Bendris's men presently sit in third place on the log, picking up eighteen points from a combined thirty-three.

The Canary Islanders continued their decent run in the division, picking up the maximum points against NC Magra. JS Kabylie have not played to their strengths this season and we feel there's more to the team than what they have achieved in recent games. The (2-1) over NC Magra was after their (1-1) stalemate against JS Saoura on the road. JS Kabylie, who have lost three times since the league began, have been unlucky in recent weeks. 

Benchika men are one of the teams tipped to challenge for the title after strengthening their squad in the transfer window. The Canaries have picked up seventeen points from a possible thirty. JS Kabylie have also won twice, drawn once, and lost a game on the road this campaign. 

JS Kabylie have won four while ES Setif have recorded eight victories and eight games ending in a tie over their previous twenty meetings. ES Setif are gaining momentum in the division after their poor start to the season. However, we can’t base our assessment of THEM on their recent display. They have struggled against big teams, and we think the guests will give them a run for their money. 

I think the hosts won’t have a smooth run here and both teams will be pleased with a point here for 3.20.
