Gostivar vs Vardar Prediction: There were many tensions before the match

Gostivar decided to play the match against Vardar in Skopje after they were not allowed to play in Shtip. This team will play at least the first half of the season outside of Gostivar. However, the management of this team decided that there would be no spectators in the stands of the "Boris Trajkovski" stadium in Madzari. Vardar's fan group, Komiti, announced that they would go to the stadium and that "no one will forbid" them from attending the stands. So, this match was in the focus of the whole week, but not because of the football, mostly because of unnecessary tensions that arose between the teams.

However, besides the problems this team have outside the pitch, they are looking and playing well. They are still undefeated in the league with 2 wins against Shkupi and Voska and two draws against Tikves and Pelister.

The new manager Srdjan Zaharievski, after ten days of preparations with the team during the break due to the representative activity, says that Vardar are ready to fight for positive results that will overcome all the initial problems in the season. Vardar invested a lot for this season, and their expectations were high but after 4 rounds they have only a win and 3 defeats.

Last season Gostivar won one match, and two matches ended in a draw. This season both teams are better, with many new players and for Gostivar, it’s visible on the table while Vardar are still struggling. These teams are always playing tough matches with not too many goals, all of their 5 matches ended with under 2.5 goals, and I expect the same in this match, and possibly Gostivar are closer to 3 points than Vardar.
