Namibia vs Lesotho Prediction: Namibia to secure first win in COSAFA

Game 2 of the COSAFA Cup action in group C will see Namibia play Lesotho at Isaac Wolfson Stadium. Both teams started their campaign with a draw. How will this encounter end?

Namibia opened their COSAFA Cup campaign with a goalless draw against Namibia. In that encounter, Namibia had 45 percent of the possession and attempted 8 shots with four on targets while they failed to convert any. In the meantime, that goalless draw was the fourth consecutive match that ended in a draw for Namibia, with the first three coming against Lesotho, Liberia and Tunisia. Heading into this game, Namibia have failed to win any of their last seven games, with their last win being against Tunisia in January.

Lesotho will be confident of winning this game, having been held to a 1-1 draw in their opener. In the game against Seychelles, Lesotho took the lead in the 19th minute of the match through Jane Thaba Ntso’s goal. However, Lesotho head into this game with just one win in their last five, coming against Zimbabwe in a 0-2 encounter. However, other encounters saw Lesotho lose to Ethiopia and Rwanda while they drew Namibia. 

Namibia were brilliant in the opener against Angola, and while Lesotho played a poor Seychelles side, they struggled. However, I think this should be another low-scoring encounter, but Namibia are a better team on paper and should be able to win.
