Stuttgart

Stuttgart is the reigning German runner-up. Not only did the Swabians secure their long-awaited Champions League place last season, but they also overtook Bayern Munich, which is something to be proud of. They lost 3:1 to Freiburg in their league debut, drew 3:3 with Mainz, beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 3:1 and Borussia Dortmund 5:1, and last weekend shared the points with Wolfsburg 2:2. They are eighth in the table with eight points. They also started their Champions League campaign with a 3:1 defeat at the hands of Real Madrid.

.

Sparta

Sparta is the team with the most titles in the national championship history. They have won the title 35 times, but between 2014 and 2022, they never won the Czech championship. Only in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons did they regain their lost positions and finish the tournament in first place. Despite their success, the Reds had to overcome a lengthy qualification process to reach the Champions League, in which they beat Shamrock Rovers 6:2, Steaua 4:3, and Malmo 4:0. They also beat Salzburg 3:0 in the first round of the general competition. They also do well in the domestic championship, sitting second after nine rounds.

Expert Betting Tips

Sparta kicked off their Champions League campaign with a convincing win over Salzburg, but the Austrians have been struggling away from home of late, so the result should not be taken as a shock. Prague faces a much more severe test in the form of an away game against Germany, which plays superbly. They have not suffered a home defeat in almost a year, and last time out, they thrashed Borussia Dortmund 5:1 in their own backyard.

Stuttgart was one of the most entertaining teams in the Bundesliga last season, and they have only gotten more fun and productive since the summer break. In eight official matches in all competitions, the Swabians have managed 37 shots on goal (an average of 4.63 per game). This extremely high figure in itself bodes well for another goal-scoring contest. Sparta's numbers are more modest, but the Germans will undoubtedly force Prague into an open exchange of shots, making their upcoming matches a must-watch for football enthusiasts.
