Netherlands vs Austria Prediction: The Oranje have their all to give

Netherlands and Austria will battle it out in Berlin in the final group game in Euro 2024. Group D. Netherlands heads into this game seated at the top of the standings, while Austria is third. Below is a complete game preview, with possible betting opportunities also considered. 

The Netherlands have been a decent side in this Euro 2024, and the Oranje will look to end the group stage with a good result. Heading into this tournament, the Netherlands boasted of consecutive wins, and in their opening game against Poland, they came from behind to secure maximum points.

However, game two against France saw them pick a point in a goalless encounter. However, while the Netherlands thought they had picked up a win in that game, the VAR disallowed Xavi Simons' goal due to a distraction from the goalkeeper.

Following their 3-1 victory in Berlin, the Austrians could now win back-to-back games at a major finals for the first time since 1982 when they stepped out at the iconic Olympiastadion again. In the Group D standings, Austria is seated in the third spot, and a win over the Netherlands could take them to the top of the standings, provided France fails to secure a victory over Poland.
