Twente vs Lazio Prediction: betting on the Eagles to win

Lazio in the current season leaves a pleasant impression. It is unlikely that the Romans will be able to fight for the highest places in Serie A, but the task is clearly not in front of them. The team continues to be actively renewed, the leaders of previous years have already left the club, and Marco Baroni only took charge of the sky-blues in the off-season. Nevertheless, in eight rounds in the national championship, they managed four wins, one draw and three losses, which is enough for an intermediate seventh place in the standings. In addition, the Eagles made a great debut in the Europa League, where they first defeated Dynamo Kyiv 3:0, and then left no chance of success to Nice 4:1.

Twente are not at their best this season. In the Eredivisie, the Red and Whites are still only sixth in the standings, they have no victories in the Europa League, and in the five previous fixtures they won only once, and that was against Breda in a hard-fought 1:0 victory. Lazio are doing much better. They won both previous games on the international stage with a total score of - 7:1, which allows them to lead the tournament. In addition, even at the level of the Italian Serie A they look very decent, and therefore in the upcoming battle it is the Eagles are seen as favourites.
