Australia vs New Zealand Prediction: Expect a lot of competitiveness

Australia will hope they can get their first home win in this year’s tournament after a very poor run of matches. In their first two games against South Africa, Australia ended on the losing end in each encounter, games that ended 7-33, and 12-30. However, their game against Argentina ended in a 19-20 in the first leg, but then struggled in game 2, losing big in a 67-20. Heading into this game, Australia are seated bottom spot of the Rugby Championship standings with four points. 

New Zealand are still finding their footing in this rugby championship and will sure hope they can win this encounter. In the opener, the visiting team started with a defeat, but then stepped up with a 42-10 win against Argentina in game 2. However, their first two games against South Africa ended in defeats, games that ended 31-27, and 18-12. Heading into this game, New Zealand have 7 points from 4 matches, leaving them seated 3rd spot. 

New Zealand and Australia have not been strong enough in this tournament and will need to do better in this encounter. While Australia are at home, I do like them to win, but New Zealand did show they are the better team to do the job. On the road, I will trust the road side regardless, a game that should end with many points.
