Dragons vs Lions Prediction: The visiting team will not disappoint

The United Rugby Championship encounter between Dragons and Lions will take place at Rodney Parade in Newport. Let’s preview this game and make predictions. 

The Dragons lost against the Sharks last weekend, and I hope they get things right here. Dragons pulled off a 10-point lead at halftime with a 22-12 win in that encounter. However, a poor second half saw this team lose 8-21, with the match ending 30-33. In the meantime, Dragons have lost two of their three games this season, the first against Leinster. With six points from a possible fifteen, the Dragons sit 13th.

Lions made it two wins in two matches the previous weekend against Edinburgh, and they will look to show class again. In that game, the Lions started with a strong 48-0 win at halftime, and despite a poor second half, they ended up winning by 34 points. In the meantime, the visiting team started their season with a 35-22 win over Ulster. With ten points this season, the Lions sit 7th in the standings, 10 points adrift of first-placed Leinster. 

Lions are the better team here and I am backing them. With the Dragons struggling, I do not see them stepping up in this game, considering how poor they are, even though they were strong the previous weekend. This will be a very competitive game, given that the Lions are on the road, but I still trust them to win by a number of margins.
