Daniel Evans vs. Denis Shapovalov Prediction: Shapovalov Has A Competitive Advantage

Denis Shapovalov and Dan Evans will face off in the 2022 Erste Bank Open quarterfinals on Friday.

The Canadian won the match 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 shortly after that. Shapovalov is in his eighth quarterfinal match of the season and has won three of his previous seven.

Shapovalov is the superior server, so he'll have the advantage there, but Evans has the game to challenge him and put his patience to the test. The Brit is noted for mixing up his strokes effectively to break up the rally's rhythm. This is a contest that might go either way, but the Canadian youth appears to be in better shape and is likely to win.
