Philadelphia Basketball Player Kelly Oubre Hit By Car

Kelly Oubre, a midfielder for the Philadelphia 76ers basketball club in the NBA, was hospitalized. The 27-year-old athlete was hit by a car on Saturday night, November 11.

According to 6abc, the incident happened in Center City Philadelphia, where Oubre lives, around 7:00 p.m. local time. After he was hit by the car, Kelly walked another 300 meters to an intersection where medics found him.

According to Philadelphia's press office, Oubre is in stable condition and has been sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A source close to the club said that the midfielder will miss most of the 2023/24 season, but will return to action before the end of the championship. The NBA regular season runs through April 14, with the playoffs running from April 20 to June 18.

Oubre has played eight games this season, averaging 16.3 points per game and 5.1 rebounds.

In January 2023, former UFC champion Conor McGregor was hit by a car while riding his bicycle, and in March, another fighter, Mike Bisping, said he was hit by a truck.
