British heavyweight Mark Potter passed away

The British heavyweight boxer Mark Potter died at the age of 47 because of stomach cancer. It was announced by the famous British promoter Frank Warren.

It is worth mentioning that even after retirement Mark took part in exhibition fights from time to time, to raise money for charity.

Potter's last fight was against his compatriot Michael Sprott in March 2003. He lost that fight by TKO.

In December, 2002, Potter came to the ring against South African boxer Osborn Machimana. Mark won this fight early, knocking out his opponent. The British fighter has 21 wins (four by knockout) and five defeats under his belt.
