WBC No. 1 ranked light heavyweight contender Callum Smith of Great Britain named what he considers to be three of the best boxers in his division.

I was looking at the rankings, somebody sent them to me. The number one was Dmitry Bivol, Artur Beterbiev is second, and then me. To tell you the truth, I can agree with that. I believe I'm the best in the world, but should I be in first place? No, I don't think so. I'd say Beterbiev should be first and Bivol should be second. A lot of people put him first because of his win over Saúl Álvarez.
Smith had his last fight against the Frenchman Mathieu Bauderlique in August of this year. In that fight, Callum won by knockout in the fourth round.
Smith was in the ring against Lenin Castillo of the Dominican Republic in September 2021. The fight ended with Callum winning by TKO in the second round. He has 29 wins (21 by knockout) and one defeat under his belt in professional boxing.
