Davis Says He Won't Fight Inoue

WBA regular WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis has spoken out about a possible fight against absolute world super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue.

Davis wrote on social media, commenting on someone's post about his fight against Inoue:

I'm not fighting him. He's NO WHERE near my weight. [I don't know] why this page keep posting s*** like this.

Inoue last fought against Marlon Tapales on December 26 in Tokyo. In that fight, Naoya won by knockout in the tenth round. He has 26 wins (23 by knockout) and no losses.

Davis last entered the ring as part of a boxing night held in April this year in Las Vegas (USA). Back then, Gervonta faced Ryan Garcia. In this fight, Davis won by knockout in the seventh round. He has 29 wins (27 by knockout) without a single loss.
