Hearn Wants To Pay Davis More Than $20 Million For Fight With Haney

Matchroom Boxing's head promoter Eddie Hearn said he is willing to pay Gervonta Davis more than $20 million dollars for a fight against Devin Haney.

Eddie Hearn for Fight TV
We have some big offers for Gervonta Davis, but if he doesn't want the fight, there's not much we can do. Is it true that 'Tank' turned down a $20 million offer? I want to offer him a bigger amount, but his team doesn't want to negotiate.

Davis last stepped into the ring against Ryan Garcia in April of this year. That fight, which was stopped in the seventh round, ended in favor of Gervonta by knockout. He has 29 wins (27 by knockout) on his record without a single loss.

Haney's last fight was against Regis Prograis on December 10 in the United States. In this confrontation, Devin won by unanimous decision of judges and became the WBC world champion in the junior welterweight division. He has 31 wins (15 by knockout) and no losses.
