Jake Paul on Fighting Mike Tyson: I Was Trying to Hurt Him

Famous American blogger and boxer Jake Paul discussed his victory over former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson.

In the early hours of November 16, Paul won against Tyson by unanimous decision.

Jake Paul's post-fight interview
Let's give it up for Mike, bro. He's a legend; he's the greatest to ever do it. I'm inspired by him, and we wouldn't be here today without him. He's obviously the toughest, baddest man on the planet. So it was really tough like I expected it to be. I was scared he was going to hurt me. I was trying to hurt him.

Before this bout, Paul went up against former UFC fighter Mike Perry in July of this year. That fight, which was stopped in the sixth round, ended in Paul's favor by technical knockout. He now boasts 10 wins (seven by knockout) and one loss in boxing.

Tyson’s last fight was against Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. In that match, which went the distance, no winner was declared as it was an exhibition. Tyson has a record of 50 wins (44 by knockout) and six losses.
