Muhammad Ali's Grandson Refuses Multi-Million Dollar Contract To Fight Jake Paul

American boxer Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of Muhammad Ali, has stated that he turned down an offer from the promotional company Most Valuable Promotions to fight Jake Paul.

Walsh said after the fight with Akale:

If I wanted to, I could be a millionaire right now. Before this fight, I denied a multi-million dollar contract from MVP Promotions to fight Jake Paul and I’m fighting a real fighter tonight. I’m not part of that circus league of boxing. This is the real league of boxing. This is what I’m going to do.

To recap, on the night of June 30, Walsh achieved victory over Sona Akale by unanimous decision from the judges. He now has ten wins (five by knockout) and one loss.
