Former undisputed bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue and WBC and WBO featherweight champion Stephen Fulton of the United States will fight in the ring on May 7 in Yokohama, Japan.
Inoue had his last fight against Britain's Paul Butler in December, 2022. In that fight Naoya won by knockout in the 11th round. He has 24 wins (21 by KO) and no losses.
Fulton came to the ring last June against his compatriot Daniel Roman. In that match, Stephen won by unanimous decision. He has 21 wins (eight by knockout) without a single loss.
