Six More National Federations Join World Boxing, Created To Replace IBA

The press service of the World Boxing organization, created to replace the International Boxing Association (IBA), announced the entry of new federations.

The sports federations of Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Honduras and Sweden have joined World Boxing. Earlier its members were Australia, England, Great Britain, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the United States.

Recall, World Boxing was created in April 2023.

On June 22, the IOC decided that the IBA no longer has the right to hold boxing competitions at the Olympic Games 2028 in Los Angeles (USA). In addition, the International Boxing Association has now been stripped of its recognition status.
