WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson has responded to Lamont Roach's desire for a rematch against WBA titleholder Gervonta Davis or a high-profile fight.
On March 2 in New York, Roach and Davis faced off in a match that ended in a draw (with scores of 115-113 in favor of Davis and 114-114 twice).

Stevenson's most recent fight was in February 2025, where he won against Josh Padley by technical knockout in the ninth round. He boasts a record of 23 wins (11 by knockout) with no losses. Roach has a record of 25 wins (10 by knockout), one loss, and two draws.
