According to the source, those who leave the IBA will create a new organization: World Boxing. It is reported that the official announcement will be published on Thursday following an online briefing.
At the end of 2022, the IBA admitted Russian and Belarusian athletes to international tournaments. The boxers from those countries will be able to compete with their national flags and anthems. As a result, a number of countries announced their boycott of the world championships in India and Uzbekistan.
